This is a gigantic book with huge beautiful prints by Steadman as well as thkmpson usual crazed drunken rambling of Thompson.

Some faint marks on laminated paper boards. Amazing read, I highly recommend it! It’s a good fast read. But who would possibly have one of those? This is not a book the Cirse Chamber of Commerce could ever endorse.
This is the alternate Hawaiian universe, a Dantesque version of a paradise as hell on earth. The fishing boat returns to the dock, with Hunter screaming triumphantly, “I am Lono! Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail ’72 also amazing 3. This is the kind of story that could make for a compelling movie, but as a book in the cirse it’s told the story fails to stay interesting.

Fans will enjoy it, non-fans of HST will regularly shake their head in disbelief. The art is great, the writing is fantastic. The most elaborate, hilarious, and engrossing “big fish” tale ever committed to print. Thompson developed a style of writing about American life and politics that was so acerbic and over-the-top, it earned its own nickname: Those who are Hunter S. Thompson’s most eccentric book in a new edition. Thompson on Film Gonzo: Thompson continually toys with the figure of Cook e an archetypal arrogant imperialist, quite properly hacked to pieces and interlards his ravings with many quotations from Richard Hough’s The Last Voyage of Captain James Cook–a far more interesting text.
